the rounds of happypimpin.
happypimpin is actually 4 games: all the same aside from minor differences such as turns rates.
the rounds are each offset by 1 week, ensuring that no matter when an account is created, there is always a game in it's first week of play! the specific differences are shown below. each round has it's own limit as to how many reserves may be applied. the additional freebies passed out by the administration in the rounds are not counted against that limit.

you are permitted to enter one character per round should you wish to particpate in them all, but it is discouraged!
you'll likely enjoy your experiance in the games more if you focus your attention and efforts to a single round!

note that the rounds reset friday nights at midnight. not around midnight, not whenever we get to it after midnight, but the very second the servers time hits midnight, the entire community pauses for a minute, and the game records the ending round, and then resets itself. the round reopens immediately. zero admin interaction required.

just wait, it gets better! used to trying to run into rounds asap to keep from losing turns? used to being immediately behind because you weren't available when it opened? with happypimpin, you have 50 hours before you miss a single turn! so long as you get your pimp in before 2:45am central monday, you miss nothing!

note! the last 12 hours of any round do not serve tick turns (the x every 10 minutes turns).
why? just trying to keep it fair for players worldwide! happypimpin has players from almost every corner of the globe! midnight est can translate into some inconvenient times for the alien players! it's not fair that only because a pimp can not be online at 5am to finish their round that they should miss turns! again, starting at noon est on a rounds final day, tick turns stop ticking. reserves and any turns already accumulated can still be applied until midnight when the round ends, but don't wait till the last minutes!


we'd like to take a moment to point out here that all games at happypimpin are 100% free to play! there is an option available for supporting the community, which rewards those supporters those additional 'master account' turns, however no administrator or even the game will ever attempt to persuade a player to support! it is completely a volunteered option. happypimpin will forever remain free to play and banner/marketing free.

our most popular round, bigpimpin, is just that: 10 turns every 10 minutes, with the tick turns capped at 4,500. the maximum reserved turns which may be applied from your master account is the normal 5,000. bigpimpin makes for some crazy play. update: bigpimpin is run in half rounds! many have requested shorter 'speed' rounds, and bigpimpin is where we're giving it to them. each bigpimpin round now lasts 14 days.

 the ghetto round
ghetto is our slow ride: 2 turns every 10 minutes, with the tick turns capped at 900. the maximum reserved turns which may be applied from your master account is none! so why would we offer such a round? the lower turn rate keeps the field tight, harder to run away from your enemies, or they from you! although the play is slower, it creates a more competitive game, as more people will be within range of each other. the lack of ability to apply extra turns makes it even more difficult. life in the ghetto lasts 28 days.

 the jumper round
5 turns, every 10 minutes for 14 days, cap at 2,250. what makes her different? other pimp themed games all have the same jumping trick: go light on guns with no regard to happiness and 'spin' as many turns as possible. since the cash is going into thugs alone, and not guns, the inflated number of thugs returns more hoes.... makes for a big jump when you're burning through thousands of turns! this style of play does not work in the other rounds of happypimpin! it can only be done here! what was done to enable it? unhappy thugs will not leave you while scouting, and those unhappy thugs will still achieve nice scouting returns (in other rounds, unhappy thugs make poor scouts). also, the effects of a high thug:hoe ratio are removed.
